ABOUT TEN22

Built on Partnership. Rooted in Dallas.

I’m Erick Koster, and my wife, Peyton, and I are the husband-and-wife team behind TEN22 Design & Renovation. TEN22 began with a simple goal: to care well for the homes and neighborhoods around us while building lasting relationships with the people who live there. The name honors October 22, our wedding anniversary, and the partnership at the center of everything we do. We built the company around the same values we bring to our marriage: open communication, integrity, and mutual respect.

I moved to Dallas from San Antonio in 2019 and met Peyton, a Dallas native, just a few weeks later. She introduced me to a city and community I quickly grew to love. Since then, we have remodeled our first home in Lake Highlands, welcomed our son and continued putting down roots here. Dallas is home, and we are proud to serve the people and neighborhoods that have become such an important part of our story.

With more than 15 years of combined experience in design and construction, Peyton and I bring two complementary perspectives to every project. She approaches the home through design, function, and how each space should feel; I focus on constructability, budgeting, sequencing, and execution. Working together allows us to protect the design vision, identify challenges early and ensure the plans reflect not only how the home should look, but how it will actually be built.

To us, a successful renovation is measured by more than the finished product. Clients should understand what is included, where their budget is going and what to expect next. From early design coordination and preconstruction through construction and the final punch list, we communicate openly, anticipate challenges and care for the details, both seen and unseen. That is what building homes back better means to us.
